Well, That Escalated Quickly: Memoirs and Mistakes of an Accidental Activist  by Francesca Ramsey

What Truth Sounds Like: Robert F. Kennedy, James Baldwin, and Our Unfinished Conversation About Race in America by Michael Eric Dyson

Children of Blood and Bone (Legacy of Orisha) by Tomi Adeyemi

Not That Bad: Dispatches from Rape Culture by Roxane Gay

This Will Be My Undoing: Living at the Intersection of Black, Female, and Feminist in (White) America by Morgan Jerkins

When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir by Patrisse Khan-Cullors

So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo

2018 Reading List

January 8, 2018

One of my goals for 2018 was to read more of what I want.

This new year I've curated an eclectic mix of old and new, fiction and non-fiction. This list is by no means set in stone, but a starting point for the year. I hope to get to all of them, but I'm sure to read others that are not listed here as well (my reading list grows faster than I can keep up!).  I'll be posting thoughts and reflections on my favorite reads throughout the year.
